In the social upheaval which we face, it seems that whatever is good, beautiful and true is being despised and rejected. However, the Word of God has the power to make and keep promises that will outlast the current despisers. Such a Word puts pressure on them, but on those who believe in Christ, that Word will purify people as they hold fast what is good.
