The First Principles course from Simeon Trust offers the basic ideas which form the Simeon Trust Workshop. The course focuses on the most fundamental principles for studying and teaching the Bible. Although Simeon Trust is aimed at pastors, the First Principles course is designed for men and women who are regular church members. The hope is that you will make progress in your skill in handling God’s Word, understanding it, applying it and sharing it with your family, your church and your community.

Our meetings will involve three pieces, as directed by the study leader:

1. Instruction: watch a video covering the key principle to learn
2. Study Questions: answer while you hear the instruction
3. Practice: Prepare an outline sheet for the assigned text in advance. Discuss in person
