We are watching the erosion and collapse of many institutions in our society. What about the Church? Jesus said, "I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt 16:18). We know that Jesus will build his church, but that doesn't mean that local churches will remain indefinitely. So how can we continue to be faithful in the midst of a "crooked and perverse generation" (Phil 2:15)? We need to recover spiritual resiliency in our souls, our homes, and our churches.
