Of Weddings and Wine: Pictures of New Life in Christ
Speaker: Clint Humfrey Series: Jesus & His Special Stories Scripture: Luke 5:33–39
When Jesus came on the scene he upset the status quo. But his intention wasn't to promote anarchy or discard authority. He came to bring a new way of life, the life of his kingdom. The scandal of this new life was that it was filled with an ordered freedom and no longer submitted to man-made religion. Like the scenes of a wedding party, the new life of the kingdom is filled with celebration in Jesus Christ alone.
