Persevering in the Christian Life

July 22, 2018 Speaker: Gavin Peacock

Topic: Sermon Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:9– :22

For all his greatness as a man of God Paul knew he was a man of dust, with a nature and passions and needs like us. He feels his loneliness, his physical discomfort and his mental boredom: his need for the company of friends, for the warmth of a cloak, and for the spiritual stimulation of theological books. So his last words are very personal words from which we can find some valuable wisdom to help us persevere in the Christian life.

  1. The Christian Life is Relational
  2. The Christian Life is Painful
  3. The Christian Life is Possible
