The New Way of the Spirit

Topic: Sermon Scripture: Romans 7:1–6
Is Christianity about mysticism that lets you live the way you want? Or is it about long lists of rules that you must conform to in order to keep God happy? Paul makes clear in Romans 7.1-6 that the Christian is released from the Law, but the manner of life is "in the new way of the Spirit" which will always lead to holy, godly living.
The Christian believer doesn't belong to the Law, but rather belongs to Christ, and lives by the Spirit, fulfilling the Law by holy living.
